Sustainable Applewood

Sustainable Applewood recognizes the need to preserve our quality of life for the future.  We believe strongly that to be successful and to maintain Applewood’s high quality of life we need to work toward:

1. setting realistic goals that will produce tangible results;

2. laying out a path for how to meet those goals through the accumulation of small successes;

3. bringing together residents, businesses, and government to develop a new model for collaborative decision-making.

Here are two draft maps for public review and input.  The “planning” map shows the general area covered by Sustainable Applewood and identifies some key resources and possibilities.  The “access” map shows trails/paths and intersections where interconnectivity with the parks, the surrounding areas, and existing trails could be improved.
